Please note the following points:

• You must always leave the building by the nearest safe exit
• It is safer to exit the UCC (a 'low-risk building') directly, rather than crossing the bridges into the main Departmental building (a 'high-risk building')
• Be aware of alternative escape routes in case the nearest exit is unusable
• Your nearest escape route may involve going either up or down the stairs
• If exiting onto Union Road, you should walk around to the west car park assembly area
• When assembling in the car park please move right away from the buildings
